摘要
本文从系统功能视角对复合体概念进行明确的界定,并探讨和比较英汉语复合体的功能及体现形式。研究认为,复合体指系列简单体的组合,并由多种语言形式体现;根据参与复合的单一体的功能是否相同,英汉语复合体均可分为同质复合体和异质复合体——同质复合体中单一体的功能得到增强,异质复合体中单一体的功能得以相互补充;根据参与复合的单一体体现形式的语法化程度是否相同,英汉语复合体均可分为同形复合体和异形复合体。其中,同形复合体可以有语法体与语法体、准语法体与准语法体的复合,而在汉语中除上述组合形式外,还存在词汇体与词汇体的复合。在英汉语中,异形复合体均包括语法体与准语法体及准语法体与语法体的复合。
Based on the clarification of the category of complex aspect,this article is intended to investigate and compare the functions and realizations of complex aspects in English and Chinese from the perspective of Systemic Functional Linguistics. Complex aspect refers to the combination of a series of aspect,which is realized by more than one linguistic form. According to the functions of their components,i. e. simple aspects,both English and Chinese complex aspects can be divided into two types: homogeneous and heterogeneous. As for homogeneous complex aspects,the concerned simple aspects enhance each other in terms of functions,and as for heterogeneous complex aspects,the concerned simple aspects complement each other in terms of functions. According to the grammaticalization degree of realizations,both English and Chinese complex aspects can be also classified into two types: homogrammatical and heterogrammatical. Homogrammatical complex aspects are realized by grammatical or quasi-grammatical forms. Besides,Chinese homogrammatical complex aspects can be realized by lexical forms as well. However,either in English or in Chinese,heterogrammatical complex aspects can be realized by grammatical and quasi-grammatical forms together with quasi-grammatical and grammatical forms as well.
