摘要
考试和教育是人类社会中两种重要的活动,均是社会进步的重要机制,二者既相互独立,又密切关联。考试的自身特点以及考试与教育之间的关系决定考试能推动教育发展。在历史上,科举制曾经推动了中国古代教育的发展,而在当代高考则有效地促进了中国当代教育的进步。
Examination and education are both important activities for human being,and also important mechanism for social progress.The two,though independent,are connected closely.Test can improve education because of test’s own characteristic as well as the relation between them.While the imperial examination system impelled the Chinese tradition education,the college entrance examination promotes China’s modern education.
