摘要
品特戏剧可谓是都市戏剧,其戏剧中的景观是典型的城市景观。出租房、旅馆、民居、酒吧、车站、街道等各种景观既是城市的外观,也是异质空间,隐藏着阶级意识、消费生活、精神存在等内容,它们展现了品特时代的社会文化生活和历史状况,是作为"他者"的剧中人以及剧作家品特对于所处时代的凝视与想象。
Pinter＇s plays can be defined as urban drama for most of the landscapes in his plays have the characteristics of cities. The urban landscapes, such as rental houses, hotels, residential buildings, bars, sta-tions and streets, are both the urban sceneries and the Heterotopias being gazed and imagined by Pinter and the characters in his plays with the identity of “ the other” , which implied the connotations of class conscious-ness ,consumptive life and spiritual situation, and meanwhile presented the social and cultural life, as well as the historical situation in Pinter＇s times.
