摘要
内蒙古大学的生态学学科缘起1957年建校伊始,中国科学院学部委员李继侗教授移植北京大学的生态地植物学教研组于内蒙古大学.1977年在李博院士主持下创建了全国第一个生态学专业.60年来,生态学学科始终坚持"面向草原,旁及农林"的发展方向,在国家生态学学科建设、人才培养、科学研究和支撑国家和区域生态安全和资源可持续利用等方面做出了重要的贡献.作为主要成员参与了国家生态学学科体系的设置和建设,率先制定生态学专业课程设置并编写生态学教材,培养了大批的生态学人才.在研究方面,承担了一系列国家重大研究计划,在国家级获奖科研成果如中国植被和中国植被图编研、草原生态系统长期研究、草地资源动态大面积遥感监测、退化草地生态修复、以及内蒙古环境资源调查规划和生态保护等方面成绩卓著,其独具特色的草原生态学研究在国内外具有广泛的影响.在内蒙古大学成立60周年前夕,内蒙古大学整合资源成立了生态与环境学院.生态学团队在蒙古高原宏观生态学和资源可持续利用、草原生态系统生态学和适应性管理、高原植物进化与分子生态学、环境生态学与受损生态系统修复、湿地科学与旱区水资源、环境地球化学循环、微生物生态学与废物资源化、生态规划和管理等领域凝炼有特色的学科方向群.基于60年来深厚的学术底蕴,面向国家和社会发展需求,内蒙古大学的生态学将会发挥更大的作用,成为生态学高层次人才培养基地和科学研究卓越中心、并在国家和区域生态安全战略实施、资源可持续利用和环境友好型社会构建中发挥智库和技技术支撑基地的作用.
The training and research in ecology in Inner Mongolia University （IMU） started at the very beginning of the establishment of the university in 1957, when Professor Jitong Li joined the university along with his ＂ecology and geobotany＇ team from Peking University. At the year of 1977, IMU established China＇s first Ecology subject in IMU, under the directing of Professor LI Bo. During the past six decades,IMU has contributed greatly to the development of ecology discipline in China through pioneering the ecology curriculum in higher education, writing ecology textbooks, and trained many talented ecologists. IMU ecology group has undertaken a series of state key research projects and made award-winning achievements in the books ＂Vegetation of China＂ and ＂Vegetation Map of China＂ compiling, long-term grassland ecosystem research, dynamic monitoring through remote sensing of grassland resources, restoration of degraded grasslands, and environmental resources planning and protection. IMU is now well-known for its training and research programs in ecology,and its research programs which are oriented to the grassland ecosystems on the Inner Mongolian Plateau. Just before the 60th anniversary of IMU,a new college named the College of Ecology and Environment was established. The college has several key research directions, including macro-ecology and sustainable utilization of natural resources on the Inner Mongolian plateau, grassland ecosystem ecology and adaptive management, ecology and evolution of highland plants, environ- mental protection and ecosystem restoration, wetland and water resources in arid areas, microbial ecology, geochemical cycles, waste management and resourcelization, and ecological planning and management.
