Experimental study on the improvement of silty soil with different modifiers

摘要 结合泰州市东风路南段快速路改造工程,对泰州地区粉土进行室内改良试验,研究石灰-水泥和石灰-水玻璃作为改良剂对该地区粉土的改良效果。研究发现:石灰-水泥改良土最大干密度略高于素土的最大干密度,最优含水率与素土基本相同,改良土的无侧限抗压强度随着压实度增大而增加,随着龄期的增长改良土的强度明显提高;石灰-水玻璃改良土的最大干密度和最优含水率随着改良剂掺量的变化基本不变,最大干密度小于素土的最大干密度,改良土的强度随着压实度的提高而增大,但增加幅度不明显,石灰-水玻璃改良土中石灰、水玻璃组分掺量对改良土强度影响很大。 The improving laboratory tests of silt in Taizhou area were carried out, according to Taizhou Dongfeng Road south expressway reconstruction project for the research of the effects of lime-cement and lime- water glass as modifiers on silt in this area. The research found that the maximum dry density of lime-cement soil is slightly higher than the maximum density of the plain soil, while the optimum water content is basically the same as the plain soil. The unconfined compressive strength of improved soil increased with the increase of compaction degree, and with the increase of soil age the strength significantly improved; the maximum dry density and optimum water content of lime-water glass modified soil unchanged with the change of modified dosage, and the maximum dry density is less than that of plain soil, the strength of modified soil increases with the increase of the degree of compaction, but the increase is not obvious, the content of lime and water glass component in lime-water glass improved soil has great influence on the strength of the modified soil.
