摘要
尼日利亚英语文学的发展受到非洲文学和非洲英语文学的影响。其发展经历了萌芽期、成型期、发展期和成熟期四个阶段,分别产生了包含图图奥拉、索因卡、阿契贝以及本·奥克瑞等在内的三代作家。文学是历史的载体,尼日利亚英语文学的发展之路与非洲梦的构建不可分离。非洲现代文学之父钦努阿·阿契贝的尼日利亚四部曲体现了不同时期非洲梦的特点。尼日利亚英语文学见证了尼日利亚的发展历程和非洲梦的历史演变,也加深了人们对"非主流"英语文学的理解。
As an important part of African literature in English, Nigerian literature in English is influenced by both African lit- erature and African literature in English. The process of Nigerian literature in English has experienced the periods of sprout, shaping, development and maturity. During these processes, there appear three generations of writers like Amos Tutuola, Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, and Ben Okri. Literature is the carrier of history. The development process of Nigerian litera- ture in English also has close relationship with the building of African Dream. ＂Nigerian Tetralogy＂ which are Things Fall A- part, No Longer at Ease, Arrow of C.od , and A Man of the People written by Chinua Achebe who is the father of African litera- ture reflect the features of African Dream in different periods. Nigerian literature in English which has witnessed the develop- ment process of Nigeria and hisrotical development of African Dream can help us have a better understanding of pan-English literature.
