摘要
定式思维是一个人依据其生活习惯或以往的生活经验养成的固定的思维模式。其优点是能够利用以往的知识和经验迅速解决新问题。其缺点是会将一个人的思维束缚在固定的思维模式下,继而墨守成规,遇到新问题时无法创新。随着社会的不断进步,这种习惯性思维不利于创新思考。因此,定式思维对英汉两种语言的转化起着举足轻重的作用。只有克服自己民族固定的习惯性思维,中西方才能更好地进行沟通交流。本文将主要探讨定式思维下英汉翻译不同的原因及翻译窍门,希望可以为译者在翻译过程中提供些新思路。
The mindset is a fixed mode of thinking that is cultivated by a person in accordance with his habits or past life experiences.The advantages of the mindset are capable to use the previous knowledge and experience to quickly solve new problems.The shortcomings of the mindset will constraint a person＇s minds to a fixed mode of thinking,and then one will tend to stick to convention and can not innovate when one encounters new problems.Therefore,the mindset plays a decisive role in the transformation of English and Chinese.Only overcoming one＇s own national fixed habitual thinking,can the west and Chinese better communicate with each other.This paper will mainly explore the different ways of translation between English and Chinese,as well as translation tips,hoping to provide some new ideas for the translator in the process of translation.
