摘要
炳灵寺石窟第169窟西秦壁画梵天劝请,长期以来被认为是说法图。本文认为该图像内容是梵天劝请释迦说法图。梵天劝请源于印度犍陀罗艺术。犍陀罗艺术中,都是梵天与帝释天侍于释迦两侧,而本图则是梵天单一跪拜求请,更接近佛经的描述。
The ＂Brahma＇ s Request＂ generally identified as a preaching scene painting in Western Qin cave 196 at the B for a long time. This paper proposes that inglingsi Grottoes has been it is a scene of Sakyamuni preaching known as ＂Brahma＇s Request,＂ which originated from Gandharan art. In the art of Gandhara, Sakyamuni is generally flanked by Brahma and Indra, but the picture only shows Brahma kneeling on one knee requesting Buddha to provide teaching; a depiction that is in fact closer to descriptions found in Buddhist scripture.
