Objective:To systematic review the curative effect and safety of autohemotherapy for treating chronic urticaria. Methods:Randomized controlled trials were searched among China Knowledge Network (CNKI),Wanfang database,SinoMed,and PubMed on autohemotherapy for treating chronic urticaria from the retrieval database to May 2016.Two investigators according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria carried out the literature screening, data extraction, and quality evaluation independently.Meta-analysis was performed by using Review Manager 5.3 software. Results:A total of 10 RCT literatures were included in the standard, involving 686 patients.Meta-analysis was performed on the efficiency and recurrence rate by using the fixed effect model, respectively.Efficiency combined with effect volume was RR=1.13,95%CI[1.07,1.19] (Z=4.56,P〈0.000 01).The effective rate in autohemotherapy group was better than that in conventional treatment group. The recurrence rate combined with effect volume was RR=0.32,95%CI[0.21,0.48],Z=5.61 (P〈0.000 01),and the recurrence rate in autohemotherapy group was lower than that in conventional treatment group. Conclusions:Compared with conventional therapy, the curative effect of autohemotherapy was better, and the recurrence rate was lower. However, due to the small number of included literatures and the low quality, the current evidences were not yet fully applicable to clinical practice.
