摘要
目的探讨中国医院市场竞争对于医院技术效率的影响。方法采用2012年河南省和江苏省1 449家综合医院的数据,通过两阶段的自助法数据包络分析和断尾回归构建经济计量和统计模型进行分析。结果在其他条件保持不变的情况下,赫芬达尔-赫希曼指数提高1 000,医院技术效率下降0.068 5。结论在中国的医疗背景下,市场竞争有利于医院技术效率的提升。
Objective To explore the association between Chinese hosPital market competition and technical efficiencies.Methods Based on administrative data of 1 449 comprehensive hospitals in Henan and Jiangsu in 2012,bootstrapped Data Envelopment Analysis and truncated regression were used.Results Ceteris paribus,hospital technical efficiency decreased by 0.068 5 with an increase of 1 000 in Herfindahl-Hirschman Index.Conclusion In the Chinese healthcare context,market competition is positively associated with hospital technical efficiency.
