摘要
心理本质论是人们认为不同类别具有内在的、不可改变的本质特征的信念。本文描述了儿童的心理本质论在种族、民族、性别等社会类别中发展变化的基本特点,介绍了一些常用的测量范式。未来研究需探究影响儿童心理本质论发展的具体因素,找出其发展变化的内在机制,探讨中国文化背景下儿童心理本质论发展研究的独特性。
Psychological essentialism is a belief that people think different categories have underlying invisible essences. This paper describes the basic characteristics of the development and changes of psychological essentialism theory on race, nationality, gender and other social categories, and introduces some commonly-used paradigms on measurement as well. Future researches in this field are needed to explore the specific factors affecting the development of psychological essentialism, discover the internal mechanism of evolution on psychological essentialism, and discuss the uniqueness of its development under China cultural context.
