摘要
对于各国经济增长速度之间的巨大差异,传统研究主要关注增长的最直接因素,强调技术进步、人力资本和物质资本积累的重要作用。近年来,正式制度的作用得到了更多关注,例如根植于文化和历史之中的信任,因而探讨信任对经济增长、金融发展的作用,有着重要的理论与实践意义。本文通过对中国26个省份2010—2013年的数据进行实证研究,分析信任与经济增长、金融发展的关系。研究表明,信任对经济增长和金融发展有正向促进作用。同时,对于信任影响经济金融的路径,本文分为个体特征层面和社会层面进行分析,研究表明,家庭收入满意度和对政府信心度可以显著地提高信任水平,同时文革历史事件和南北区域异质性对于信任均有显著影响。基于上述结论,本文提出中国未来要加强信用体系建设和继续提升政府公信力的政策建议。
For researches in the huge differences of the economic growth rate among countries, traditional studies mainly pay attention to the most direct factor, emphasizing the important role of technological progress, human capital and material capital accumulation. However, in recent years, the role of formal institutions has perceived more attention, for instance, trust rooted in culture and history. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the role of trust in economic growth and financial development. This paper analyzes the relationship between trust and economic growth, as well as between trust and financial development by doing empirical research on the data of 26 provinces in China from 2010 to 2013. Studies have shown that trust has a positive effect on economic growth and financial development. At the same time, for the path of how trust affect economy and finance, this article consists of individual characteristics level and social level. Related research shows that the satisfaction of family income and trust to the government can significantly improve the level of trust, while cultural events as well as north and south regional heterogeneity both have a signifi cant impact on trust. Based on these conclusions, this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to credit system construction and how to continue to enhance the govermnent＇s credibility in the future.
