摘要
在高等教育大众化背景下,"985工程"高校试图通过"拔尖人才培养"平衡规模扩张与精英培养的矛盾,但在后大众化阶段,"精英"教学由于受益面过小而受到来自公平与效率的拷问。为突破高校普遍存在的创新人才培养受益面窄、关注"高峰"有余而"高原"不足、学生自主学习能力缺乏等问题,本文案例学院以"群英"培养理念为统合,进行教学改革并取得系列成效。促进全体大学生共同卓越,共享卓越;放眼国际,与高端产业对接培养,不断驱动群英教育的更新升级,是后大众化高等教育时代重点研究型大学工程教育人才培养的应为之策。
In the context of higher education popularization, the balance between student expansion and elite cultivation has become one of the most challenging problems faced by universities sponsored by 985 Project. However, fairness and efficiency of pilot education reform carried out in several first-class universities are criticized due to such problems as relative small scales and lower autonomous learning competence among students. School of Optical and Electronic Information at Huazhong University of Science and Technology is one of the first pilot schools to perform higher education reform at the national level. Results show that cooperating with hi-tech industries provides possible solutions to cultivating elite students and enables them to have an international view at the era of post-popularization of higher education.
