摘要
从传统生态学到现代生态学的发展中,生态学整体论和还原论的争论不断演化。这一争论的产生既受学科多元发展趋势的影响,也受自身概念语义含糊等方面的影响。从不同层面考察该争论:本体论层面,生态学整体论者和还原论者均认同物质构成的一致性,但对属性的可还原性持不同立场;认识论层面,二者的争论在于生态学研究应侧重下向解释路径还是上向解释路径,但这两种立场并非处于对立的态势。
There has been endless controversy between ecological holism and reductionism. The generation of this argument was influenced by the development of ecology and ambiguity of those two concepts. This study focus on ： ontologically, both ecological holism and ecological reductionism agree the unity of substance, and have different opinions about the reducibility of property ; in terms of epistemology, the argument lies on which is better for ecological study between downward and upward explanation. This does not mean absolute dualism.
