摘要
色调映射算法的目的是为了解决高动态范围图像和显示设备的不匹配问题,针对传统的对数映射未考虑到不同亮度刺激值对色调映射的影响,提出一种基于分区的局部色调映射算法,以解决高动态范围图像的显示问题.考虑到人眼对亮度变化的非线性感知特征,用对数图像处理模型对亮度图像进行增强,并利用心理学中韦伯-费希纳定律将图像分为四个区域,根据分区结果用不同尺度的参数的对数映射,以适应不同范围内的图像亮度,最后利用各区域比例因子对图像进行融合,从而实现对高动态范围的处理.实验结果表明,此算法能有效实现动态范围的压缩,保留图像整体对比度,同时又能清楚地再现图像细节.
The goal of tone mapping algorithm is to deal with the problem that high dynamic range image and display devices do not match each other. As the conventional logarithmic algorithms falls to take into account the effect of intensity of stimulation to the tong mapping,a novel partition based method for tong mapping is presented in this paper. Considering the nonlinear characteristics of hu- man visual system for perceived luminance change, the image is divided into four regions by the psychology Web-Fechner law after enhanced by the logarithmic image processing model. Based on the partition result, a multi-scale logarithmic tone mapping approach using a set of parameter is applied to different ranges of image brightness, then the image is blended using the scale factor of each region. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can compress the dynamic range and keep the whole contrast of the image, while reproducing image detail clearly.
