湘西乡话模韵主体层次读音共有四种类型,非主体层次包括条件音变层和"客话"渗透层。湘西乡话鱼虞韵叠置了三个层次:鱼虞有别层、鱼虞相混次晚层和鱼虞相混最晚层。
There are four pronunciation types in the main strata of Xianghua dialects in western Hu＇nan province, while subordinate MC Mo 模 final group in strata include conditioned sound change and influences from southwest Mandarin and Xiang dialects in western Hu＇nan province.
