摘要
本文分析裘帕·拉希莉小说《低地》女主人公高丽形象,解读其在异质文化空间里通过对自身身份的解构和建构,完成自我救赎和实现自主个体身份重构的意义。高丽这一形象,对当代印度女性身份建构有一定的启发意义。
This paper analyzes Gauri,the heroine in Jhumpa Lahiri＇s The Lowland.It interprets the progress in which Gauri deconstructs and reconstructs her identity in the heterogeneous cultural space.It also explains the significance that Gauri succeeds in self salvation and self reconstruction.The image of Gauri can inspire other Indian women in their identity construction.
