摘要
为应对信息技术发展、用户使用行为改变等内外部环境对图书馆所带来的机遇和挑战,国内外大学图书馆纷纷进行机构重组和转型。作者采用五步过程理论对堪萨斯大学及香港科技大学图书馆的变革过程进行比较,分析其机构重组的过程,探讨两所大学图书馆机构重组的积极成果和出现的问题,以期对我国大学图书馆机构重组给予启示。
In order to deal with the opportunities and challenges bringing from the internal and external environment such as IT technology and user behavior, China and foreign academic libraries have being carried out structural reorganization. The authors use the five step process theory to compare the reorganizing process between University of Kansas Library and Hong Kong University Science & Technology Library. The authors summarize the positive results and the new problems in order to give inspirations to the reorganization of academic libraries in China.
