Objective To investigate the significance of central venous pressure monitoring(CVP) in the evaluation of patients with severe cranial injury. Methods 104 cases of patients in ICU severe craniocerebral injury were chosen as the research object, randomly divided into the control group and study group, each of 52 cases, control group using conventional methods for treatment, the study group under CVP monitoring. Results 12 h and 24 h after treatment, patients in the study group, HR, MAO, PaO_2/FiO_2, urine volume and CVP value were better than those of the group and the control group(P〈0.05), the study group after the treatment in the control group than the good rate(75.00% vs. 55.77%), the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05), the average amount of liquid for the study group(3 657±1 108) ml, the control group(4 879±1 268) ml, the research group than in the control group(P〈0.05). Conclusion The application of central venous pressure monitoring technology can effectively carry out liquid management in patients with severe craniocerebral injury, improve the curative effect of patients, improve the prognosis of patients and prevent the occurrence of complications.
