摘要
英籍翻译家戴乃迭的译介活动跨越半个多世纪,在不同历史阶段受不断变化的翻译生态环境的影响,其对源语文本的选择体现出不同的倾向和特点。研究发现,戴乃迭的文本选择是她对自身内在需要和外部翻译生态环境适应性选择的结果,但就外部环境而言,她所处的源语生态环境对其翻译活动的影响更大。
Gladys Yang, a British translator, spent more than half a century on Chinese-English literary translation. In different periods of history, her selection of source texts had different tendencies and characteristics due to the changing translational eco-environment. The research finds that Gladys Yang＇s text selection is the result of adapting to her own internal needs, her translating ability and translational eco-environment, but in terms of external eco-environmem, the source language context exerts more influences on her translation activities.
