摘要
一般所谓物和个体的性质和普遍性,一般所谓物和个体的特殊性和个性,真正讲来只是事物和个体内在关系的相似或不相似。同一类的个体,它们自身的关系是相似的,否则就是不相似的;同一类个体中的每一个体的不同,在于每一个体都存在着不同于其他个体的唯一独有的关系。个体自身就是关系体,它自身的关系体又同个体之间的关系始终处于浑然一体的关系之中。万物整体上是所有个体的关系体,世界整体上是一个关系的世界。
Generally,what is called the nature and universality of the individuals,and their particularity or individuality as well,is really just a matter of the similarity or dissimilarity in the intrinsic relationship between and among themselves.The similar intrinsic relationship exists for things of the same species;otherwise,dissimilar intrinsic relationship exists for things of different species.The difference between individuals of the same species is determined by the only unique relationship each individual has as distinguishable from those of any others.The so called individuality is the relationship itself,and the relationship itself has been linked to other relationships between and among the individuals.This constitutes another seamless relationship network.All in all,everything is ultimately a matter of relationship between and among all individuals.Thus,the entire world itself is but an inter-relational world on a grand scale.
