摘要
负的方法肇源于冯友兰《新理学》中的一个根本性困难:人们如何能够借助逻辑的形上学观念进入终极的人生境界?《新知言》提出负的哲学方法,意在使人们超越此前的理性纯思,以否定的方式,从形上学观念返归形上学对象,并最终获得与万物浑然一体的天地境界。有了负的方法,冯友兰的天地境界理论就在哲学方法的层面上取得了合法性。
Negative method originates in a fundamental difficulty in Feng You-lan's New Idealist Philosophy.How could people get into the ultimate realm by means of Feng'logical ideas? As an answer, he put forth the Negative Method to make people transcend logical analysis, reveal metaphysical objects and melt themselves into the universe. Because of that, his Universe Realm theory obtained methodological legality.
