Memes plays a great impact on the process of transmission in World of Warcraft. The utilization of gameplay elements in WOW is classical; in addition; the characterization of personalities is elaborate, which reveals the spiritual and fancy world of the obsessive fans of online game. Besides, this paper analyzes the transmission and prevalence of WOW from the perspective of the theory of memetics, exploring the type of propagation, the cause of analysis and the feature of replication of WOW that serves as triumphant movie culture memes.
