摘要
丝氨酸蛋白酶是一类以丝氨酸为活性中心的蛋白水解酶,在哺乳动物的生命活动过程中扮演着重要的角色,在消化、凝血、凋亡和免疫系统中的作用早已被人们所熟知。近年来,随着对该蛋白酶家族研究的深入,发现丝氨酸蛋白酶在不明原因的不育患者和ACR–/–(acrosin)、PCSK4–/–(proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 4)、PRSS21–/–(protease,serine,21)、PRSS37–/–(protease,serine,37)、PCI–/–(protein C inhibitor)、SPINKL3–/–(serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type)等敲除小鼠模型中具有很高的出现频率。因此,该文简要介绍了丝氨酸蛋白酶家族特点,并在此基础上,着重阐述了其在生殖过程中的作用。
Serine proteases are enzymes that cleave peptide bonds in proteins, in which serine serves as the nucleophilic amino acid at the enzyme's active site. They are responsible for vital processes in mammals such as digestion, blood coagulation, apoptosis and immunity. In recent years, new developments from the function investigation of a number of serine protease have found that they have a high frequency of occurrence in unexplained infertile patients and gene-disrupted mice(ACR–/–, PCSK4–/–, PRSS21–/–, PRSS37–/–, PCI–/–, SPINKL3–/–). Therefore, on the basis of a brief overview of the characteristics of serine protease, we pay more attention to its role in reproduction in this review.
