摘要 【目的】探索L-肉碱对圆型臂尾轮虫(Brachionus rotundiformis)(简称轮虫)种群增长、怀卵率和个体大小的影响。【方法】用0.012 5mg/mL氯霉素作为轮虫培养液中的抑菌药物,1mg/L L-肉碱作为轮虫的营养强化剂,以正常培养条件下不添加L-肉碱和氯霉素的培养组为对照,分别设添加L-肉碱、氯霉素和L-肉碱+氯霉素处理,以纯酵母菌投喂培养轮虫5d。每天测定各组轮虫的种群密度、培养液中的细菌含量以及第5天时各组轮虫的背甲长、背甲宽。【结果】3-5dL-肉碱组的细菌含量均显著高于其他3组(P〈0.05);2-4d氯霉素组和L-肉碱+氯霉素组的细菌含量显著低于对照组(P〈0.05),但这两组之间的差异不显著(P〉0.05);第5天除L-肉碱组外其他3组之间细菌含量差异不显著(P〉0.05)。1-5d各处理组轮虫的种群密度均呈上升趋势,L-肉碱组轮虫的种群密度均高于其他3组。各组轮虫的怀卵率差异不显著(P〉0.05);添加氯霉素组轮虫的背甲长和背甲宽显著大于其他3组(P〈0.05)。【结论】L-肉碱对轮虫种群生长和繁殖的影响可能主要是通过影响细菌数量而起作用的。 【Objective】The effects of L-carnitine(LC)on population growth,body size and egg ratio of rotifers Brachionus rotundiformis were studied.【Method】Rotifers were enriched with 1mg/L L-carnitine supplements dissolved in culturing medium on the first day in a 1Lbatch culture trial for 5days and fed with pure cultured yeast.The bacteria community in culture medium was controlled by daily addition of0.012 5mg/mL chloramphenicol.Four treatments including control group(no added chloramphenicol and carnitine),carnitine groups(LC groups),chloramphenicol groups(CAP groups),and carnitine+chloramphenicol groups(LC+CAP groups)were designed and the population density,bacterial quantity,lorica length and lorica width of each group were detected every day.【Result】The bacteria number of carnitine groups was significantly(P〈0.05)higher than that of other groups during 3-5days.In comparison withthe control,the bacteria numbers of CAP group and LC+CAP group were significantly lower(P〈0.05)during 2-4days,but there was no significant difference between them(P〉0.05).There were no significant differences(P〉0.05)in bacteria number among the control,CAP and LC+CAP in the 5th day.The population density in all treatments had an increase trend,with the highest value in LC treatment.No significant differences were found(P〉0.05)in egg ratios of all groups.The daily addition of chloramphenicol significantly affected body size of treated rotifers,and the lorica length and lorica width of rotifers were significantly larger(P〈0.05)in CAP treatment compared to other treatments.【Conclusion】L-carnitine affected the population growth of rotifers through the effects on bacteria community.
