摘要
清华简《系年》是一部前所未见的先秦史籍,对于研究东周历史有着重要的价值。其中,该篇记载了不少有关宋国的史事,可与传世文献对照,如《左传》等文献将宋人截杀申舟的原因归于不假道于宋,是楚人理亏,《系年》则明确记载申舟曾假路于宋,申舟被杀源于数年前与宋国君臣的积怨;华元弭兵是春秋时代的一件大事,但在"疑古思潮"的影响下,后世学者对此事的真实性存有怀疑,《系年》原原本本记录了这一事件的来龙去脉,印证了《左传》记载的可靠性;《系年》还记录了许多战国时代宋国的史事,可以补充传世文献之不足。
The bamboo slips Xi Nian [系年] in the Tsinghua University collection is a pre-Qin history book that has never been known before. It is especially important to historians on the Eastern Zhou dynasty. The many historical facts about the Song state given in Xi Nian are comparable to other ancient books. For example, about Shen Zhou being killed by the Song, in Zuo Zhuan [左传] and other books it is recorded that he was killed for not performing due rituals when passing through the Song territory. While according to Xi Nian, Shen Zhou had performed the required rituals and he was in fact killed for discord between him and the ruler of Song. The significant event of Hua Yuan making peace, about which many scholars are doubtful, has been recorded in detail in Xi Nian, which proves the authenticity of records in Zuo Zhuan. In addition, many other facts about the Song state during the Warring States period are pendant to existing records.
