The paper elaborates on the characteristics of refined nursing and the applicability of the principle of least effort to acqui- ring information. It applies the principle of least effort in hospital libraries and provides individualized information services for nursing personnel in the process of refined nursing. Upon the satisfaction survey of nursing personnel, it indicates the significance of performing refined nursing information services.
