摘要
地理素养是地理学及相关学科培养学生素质的最本质的要素。在分析培养GIS专业学生地理素养必要性的基础上,探讨通过优化地理学基础课程、探索多样的教学方式和手段,不断强化学生地理素养和地理思维训练的培养模式,从而培养具有扎实的地理学基础和过硬的地理应用能力,真正能够适应社会需求和科研需要的GIS专业人才。
Fostering geographic literacy is the essence of geographical education.This paper presents the the necessity of fostering geographic literacy for GIS specialty,and discusses the mode of training students＇ geographic literacy and geographic thinking by optimizing the geography curriculum and exploring a variety of teaching methods and means.Its aim is to develop the GIS professionals with a solid foundation and excellent geographic application ability.
