The eared cup with the inscription of "Jing Family" unearthed from M1 of the Laoguanshan Cemetery of the Han Dynasty revealed the clan affiliation of its occupant, which would be the Jing Family, a branch of the royal clan of the Chu State of the Warring-States Period forcedly moved to the Guanzhong area by the Han government in the early Western Han Dynasty. The wooden tablets unearthed from this tomb showed that its occupant was an official. The identification of the clan affiliation of the tomb occupant of Laoguanshan M1 provided important clue for the origins of the occupants of the high-ranking burials found in Chengdu Plain area.
