摘要
从科学观、知识观、科学家的价值观和社会文化等视角重新审视默顿的普遍主义规范是非常必要的。默顿的普遍主义规范在当今中国面临着来自内在的知识观和外在的社会文化的双重挑战:一方面不断被揭示出来的新类型的知识使普遍主义规范难以适用,另一方面普遍主义规范在中国还遭遇着文化的障碍。无论是从应然还是从实然层面看,默顿的普遍主义规范都应做适当修正、补充或拓展,以兼顾公平和效率,促进我国科学技术持续、高效发展。
It is quite necessary to rethink Merton＇s norm of universalism from the perspective of view of science,view of knowledge,scientist＇s value and socio-culture. Merton＇s universalism is faced with the challenges from both the internal view of knowledge and the external socio-culture： On one hand new types of knowledge render the norm of universalism difficult to apply; on the other hand the norm of universalism also encounters cultural barriers in China. From both levels of ＂what it should be＂and ＂what it is＂,Merton＇s universalism needs revising,complementing or expanding to give consideration to both fairness and efficiency,and to promote science and technology of our country to a high speed of development.
