摘要
中国实木家具具有深厚的文化内涵,在语言学和跨文化交际学的理论指导下分析顺德实木家具品牌英译现状,主要存在无译名、简单音译以及不恰当意译的问题。为此应提高品牌翻译意识,灵活运用翻译策略,重视目标市场调研,为实木家具行业品牌的翻译提供借鉴。
Chinese solid wood furniture has profound cultural connotations. Under the guidance of linguistics and intercultural communication theory,this paper analyzes the present situation of brand translation of Shunde solid wood furniture. And it has found that the existing main problems are no translation,simple transliteration,and inappropriate free translation. This research also puts forward solutions to the specific problems,which aims to provide a reference for the brand translation for solid wood furniture industry in Shunde and in the whole country as well.
