Design Study of Spill Coaming on Very Large Crude Carrier

摘要 文章介绍了超大型油船设置溢油防护结构的重要性,详述了溢油防护结构涉及的入级规范、国际公约、规则及其他相关要求,列举了油船常见的几种溢油防护结构型式,分析了它们的优缺点,得出艏、舯、艉各区域溢油防护结构设计的相关细节和要求,甲板面上被圈围起来的液体形成的自由液面对船舶初稳性高的影响甚微,溢油防护结构设计需要在总体布置时有所考虑,在结构设计时进行细化。 The paper introduces the importance of the spill coaming structure for oil tankers and describes in detail the requirements of classification rules, international conventions, regulations and other relative requirements. It lists several common types of spill containment and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages. It is summarized the relevant details and requirements of spill coaming located at the fore, midship and aft areas. The free surface effects caused by containment of a cargo spill during liquid transfer operations or of boarding seas while underway are little. The spill coaming shall be considered in the general arrangement and shall be detailed at the stage of construction design.
