宋人赵普"半部论语治天下"一说流传甚广。一向以来,人们对这句话及其背后所关联的故事态度不一。有人相信这句话及赵普启箧读《论语》的故事是真的,有人则宣称这是一个谎言。表达立场,信之、用之或斥之固然重要,更重要的还需要回答"半部论语治天下"这一历史故事形成的意义,以及如何理解它所折射出的一个时代或一种文化中最关注的问题。
The phrase ＂half the Analects could govern the world＂ , which has been spread widely, came from Zhao Pu , the prime minster of Song Dynasty. For a long time, people show the different attitudes toward this sentence and the associated story behind it. Some believed the story of how Zhao Pu read the Analects was true, but others denounced it was just a cover story. Determining the authenticity of the story is undoubtedly a primary standpoint, but more importantly we still need to answer the meaning of this prase ＂half the Analects could govern the world＂, and explore the question on how to understand the crucial era and cultural issues in that time reflected by this historical story or the making story.
