摘要
庄周蝴蝶梦,作为《齐物论》最后"压轴"的段落,文字简洁,寓意却非常深邃。庄周化蝶,而蝴蝶又是由毛毛虫羽化而来,隐指人只有"丧我",例如去除自身的贪婪和自以为是等,才可能获得逍遥自在的生活。蝶化庄周,表明人在幻想过后还是要无奈地面对残酷的现实,还是要寻求现实的解脱之道。庄周与蝴蝶间的相互转化,从最为宏观的角度看,表征着世间万物的相互迁移与变化无常。庄子使用"物化"一词反映这种转化,但是,"物化"一词却又暗含着顺物之化而与道俱化的思想,而这又是对于《齐物论》的主旨、乃至庄周蝴蝶梦的根本寓指的高度概括与升华。
As being the last paragraph of the On Leveling All Things,Zhuangzi＇s butterfly dream text is short but it has profound implied meaning. Zhuangzi turned into a butterfly,while a butterfly is from eclosion of a caterpillar.It means that if humans could quieten their mind,such as getting rid of greedy and arrogant thoughts,they can acquire a relaxed and happy life. The butterfly became Zhuangzi,which indicates that humans still need to confront the cruel reality after dreaming of a happy life,as they want to find a way to free themselves. Looking from a macroscopic perspective,the transformation between Zhuangzi and the butterfly symbolizes that everything is a mutual transfer and is changeable in the world. Zhuangzi used the word reification to reflect this kind of transformation,but the word reification implies the thought of making changes with things and Tao. This is the predominant meaning of On Leveling All Things,and also enhances Zhuangzi＇s butterfly dream.
