摘要
在开放创新和转型经济背景下,全方位、多层次的企业研发网络关系嵌入对创新的作用一直是学术界和商业实践界关注的焦点。本研究整合资源观和社会网络理论,通过纵向单案例的研究方法考察杭州鸿雁电器研发网络深化拓展过程中创新能力提升,构建了"节点关系嵌入--资源整合--创新能力"的理论框架。研究发现,随着鸿雁三个发展阶段中研发网络节点关系嵌入的广度和深度二元拓展,企业采取的资源整合方式存在"引进利用—追随探索—主导探索"的动态变化,对创新能力提升产生不同的效果。进一步,在研究结果与讨论部分对案例涌现的转型经济背景下企业政治可见性与政府资源挖掘、网络范式下渗透式创新等议题进行了讨论。最后,本文探讨了研究的理论贡献和对研发网络动态构建的实践启示。
In the context of open innovation and transitional economy, the influence of multi-level R&D network's relational embeddedness on a finn's innovation capability has been a hot topic for both academic researchers and business practitioners. Although previous studies contribute to our tmderstanding of relational emeddedness of R&D network, there still exists several theoretical gaps. Firstly, the heterogeneity of different relational embeddedness is underestimated. Secondly, extant relational dimension focuses on secondary data and questionnaire. However, there are a few in-depth case studies at the whole-network level. Thirdly, little insights are discovered about how R&D networking evolves with the ambidexterity of breadth and depth, and be integrated into a firm's resource integration mechanism. For the importance of this research topic, relational spillover during the embeddedness process acts as a crucial access for information and resource exchange, which constitutes an important guarantee for a finn's sustainable development. Thus, the research question of "How does the fit between R&D network relational embeddedness and resource integration affect a finn's innovation capability?" deserves further investigation. To fill the research gap, we combine resource-based view and social network theory, and conduct the longitudinal case study of Honyar to build an integrated theoretical framework of "R&D network relational embeddedness - Resources Integration- Innovation Capability". The study finds that the ambidexterity of R&D network breadth and depth continues to expand at different development stages. In addition, resource integration modes vary with the dynamic interaction between different network nodes, thus enhancing a firm's innovation capability. This case study has many findings.
