摘要
认知语言学进一步继承和发展了亚里士多德的经典隐喻理论,认为隐喻是人们认知世界的工具和手段。英汉"HAPPINESS/幸福"概念隐喻具有相似性,"HAPPINESS/幸福"是人类的基本情感之一,在人们的认知与体验中具有重要的作用,这在语言中得到了很好的体现。
Cognitive linguistics further inherits and develops Aristotle's classical theory of metaphor, holding that metaphor is a tool and means for people to learn about the world. HAPPINESS in English or "幸福" in Chinese (HAPPINESS/幸福) show similar conceptual metaphor meaning. HAPPINESS/幸福 is one of human being's basic emotion and plays an important role in people's cognition and experience, which is well demonstrated in language.
