美国学术型博士生课程建设的特征与路径研究 被引量:13

摘要 文章以斯坦福大学、加州理工学院、麻省大学等名校的部分学科为案例进行研究发现:美国博士生课程建设具有规范的课程设置、系统的课程结构安排、大量严格的课程修读要求、个性化的课程修读计划等基本特征。各校课程建设的基本路径包括开发丰富的课程资源,制定严格的课程制度,设置体系化的课程目标,不断拓展和深化课程内容,采用灵活个性的教学方式和严格的考核与淘汰制度等。凡此种种,意味着培养学者是博士生教育最本质的功能,课程对保障博士生培养质量具有独特的价值,博士生课程应进行系统化、规范化建设。 The paper takes some disciplines of such prestigious university as Stanford University,California Institute of Technology,University of Massachusetts as the cases,and concludes the common features of American doctoral curriculum construction as follows:standard curriculum provision,systematic curriculum structure,large and strict learning requirements,personalized learning plan,etc.In order to achieve standardized curriculum construction,many universities adopt a series of measures,including developing rich curriculum resources;making strict curriculum system;setting systematic curriculum objectives;continuously expanding and deepening curriculum content;adopting flexible and personalized curriculum implementation methods;setting strict curriculum evaluation and elimination system,etc.The measures mentioned above means that training scholars is the most essential function of doctoral education,and courses have unique value to ensure the quality of talent cultivation,and Ph.D curriculum construction should be systematic and standardized.
