摘要
自从美国学者哈维提出现代化的"时空压缩"概念以来,亚洲学者如张庆燮教授等开始运用时空压缩概念研究日韩现代化压缩问题。我们认为,现代化的空间压缩,除了地理空间之外,更主要表现在社会空间的压缩,即社会现象的新旧交错上,并且现代化空间可分为文化空间、(狭义)社会空间、经济空间和政治空间四个层面。日本社会的现代化压缩特征,在文化空间上,集中表现在现代化的基本理念即个人主义的人为缺失(拒斥)上;在社会关系空间上,表现为现代家庭的出现和消解前后紧密相联;在经济空间上,表现为双重经济任务和双重经济结构的同时出现;在政治空间上,集中表现为民主阶段和分散民主阶段的压缩式衔接。同为亚洲国家的中、韩等国也存在着类似的空间压缩特征及动因。对上述特征的研究及其成因的分析表明,现代化的社会发展过程是一个综合复杂的过程,现代化的各个层面是相互影响、协调发展的,不仅现代化发展的时间长短和各层面的先后顺序对社会有重大的影响,各空间之间的相互关联协调也是现代化发展顺利与否的一个重要因素,任何颠倒和压缩都会给社会发展带来一定的困难和问题,需要谨慎应对。
Since the putting forward of the concept of＂time-space compression＂of modernization by Harvey,an American scholar,Asian scholars such as professor ZHANG Qing-xie have started to use the concepts of time-space compression to study Japanese and Korean compression problem of modernization.We believe that the space compression of modernization,in addition to geographical space,mainly embodied in the social space compression,namely the coexistence of old and new social phenomenon,and modern space can be divided into four levels,i.e.,cultural space,social space（in its narrow sense）,economic space and political space.The characteristics of space compression of modernization in Japanese society,in cultural space are reflected in individualism,the loss（rejects）of basic idea,in social relations space are reflected in quick change of the emergence and digestion of the modern family,in economic space are embodied in the dual economic tasks and dual economic structure at the same time;while in political space are shown in the compression type stages of concentrated democratic and decentralized democratic.China,Korea and other Asia countries in the social modernization process have similar space compression characteristics and causes.The analysis of the characteristics and causes suggests that the development of modern society is a complex process.All aspects of modernization is mutually influenced and coordinately developed,not only the time length and order,but all space levels of society have a significant mutual impact.Any inversion and compression will bring certain difficulty to the social development so that problems need to be careful to deal with.
