THE IMPACTS OF 8.2~6.2ka B.P.SEA-LEVEL CHANGE ON THE OCEANIC TIDES AROUND HAINAN ISLAND

摘要 琼州海峡在8.5~6.0ka B.P.开始贯通至形成现今形态,海平面的上升和琼州海峡不断冲刷使得海南岛周围潮汐发生不断的变化.本文构建8.2ka前琼州海峡和海南岛周边海域的古地形,应用高分辨率、验证良好的Delft 3D潮流泥沙模型,研究8.2ka以来海南岛周边海域的潮汐对不同时期海平面上升(约20m)的响应.模型采用现代海洋水文资料进行验证,研究了潮汐对琼州海峡贯通、海平面上升的响应.模拟结果显示海平面上升会引起潮汐的显著变化,随着海平面的上升,靠近越南的无潮点会不断地往南移动.同时,在相同的海平面条件下,假设琼州海峡封闭,研究琼州海峡的贯通对海南四周海域潮汐的影响.研究表明,琼州海峡的贯通对海南岛周边海域的潮汐特征具有显著影响:K1、O1全日分潮的无潮点位置较未阻断情况偏北,且其在北部湾的振幅较未阻断情况偏小. Qiongzhou Strait was formed in 8.5- 6.2ka B.P. Changes in tidal characteristics occurred around Hainan Island in response to the geomorphological evolution of Qiongzhou Strait and sea-level rise. We reconstructed the paleo- terrain in the vicinity of Qiongzhou Strait and the coastal waters of Hainan Island for the period 8.2ka B.P., to investigate the response of the tides on the coasts of Hainan Island to sea level rise (by around 20m) for the different periods, by applying the high resolution Delft 3D tidal current and sediment transport model. The model was validated using the present-day tide gauge records. The simulated results show that the rising sea level caused a significant change of tides; the amphidromic points near Vietnam moved towards the south. Furthermore, the tides under the assumed conditions of a blocking and an open Qiongzhou Strait under the same condition of the sea level were investigated. The result shows that the linkage provided by Qiongzhou Strait had a significant influence on the tidal characteristics of the coast waters of I-Iainan Island. When the strait was blocked, the amphidromic points of the K1, O1 diurnal tides were located further in the north, with a decrease in the magnitude of the K1, O1 constituents in the Beibu Gulf.
