Margaret Atwood is a famous Canadian female writer with high international reputation. One of the features of her works is the borrowing and rewriting of classic works. Her reconstruction on classics is relevant to her "politicality" under the post-modern context in which deconstruction culture is very popular, in which Ms. Atwood doubts the power relations behind the literary classics in history through reconstruction, and in this way she helps those marginalized "others" walk into the "center", showing the author's "political" appeal to seek "survival" for the vulnerable people.
