摘要
在复杂多变的环境下,零售商注重与上游供应商建立紧密的合作关系。但现有研究对关系嵌入与企业绩效间的关系并未得出一致结论。针对企业实践中的问题和现有研究不足,文章立足零售商视角,在考察关系嵌入对零售商经济绩效作用效果的基础上,探讨了环境不确定性和合同包容性对上述关系的调节作用。根据来自家具、电脑及其零配件行业的数据检验了所提出的假设,实证研究结果显示:关系嵌入可以提升零售商经济绩效;合同包容性和市场波动对上述关系具有强化作用;竞争强度会弱化关系嵌入对零售商经济绩效的提升作用;技术动荡对关系嵌入与零售商经济绩效间的关系无显著影响。研究结论不仅深化了现有关系嵌入的研究,同时也为企业实践提供了指导。
Under the complex and versatile environment, the retailers pay attention to establishing close cooperation relation- ships with their upstream suppliers. However, the existing research has not reached a consensus on the link between relational em- beddedness and the corporate performance. Considering the problems the enterprises met in practice and the existing insufficient re- search, this paper investigates the effect of relational ties on retailers＇ economic performance as well as the moderating effects of envi- ronmental uncertainty and contractual inclusiveness from retailers＇ perspective. Based on the data of the furniture, computer and its components industries, this paper analyze the hypotheses. The results o＇f the empirical research show： first, relational embeddedness can improve retailers＇ economic performance; second, contractual inclusiveness and market turbulence can strengthen the effect of relational embeddedness on retailers＇ economic performance; third, competitive intensity decreases the function of relational embed- dedness to improve the retailers＇ economic performance ; while technology turbulence has no significant effect on the above relation- ship. The results entend the extant research on relational ties and provide helpful managerial implications for enterprises＇ practices.
