过热度对非晶合金玻璃形成能力和力学性能的影响 被引量:2

Effect of Overheating on the Glass Forming Ability and Mechanical Properties of Bulk Metallic Glasses

摘要 采用铜模吸铸法在不同过热度下制备了Cu_(40)Zr_(44)Al_8Ag_8大块非晶合金(BMGs),分别采用同步示差扫描量热仪(DSC)和单轴压缩实验测试了各试样的玻璃形成能力(GFA)和力学性能,并利用X射线衍射(XRD)仪、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和透射电子显微镜(TEM)等手段对其显微结构与GFA和力学性能的关系进行分析。结果发现:所有试样非晶基体中均夹杂有少量晶体相,且随着过热度的提高,试样的GFA不断提高;非晶合金中晶粒变小,晶化体积分数不断减小,强度和塑性逐渐增大,并在吸铸功率为6 kW时达到最优值,继续增加过热度,力学性能反而迅速下降。 Cu40Zr44Al8Ag8 bulk metallic glasses(BMGs) were prepared by a copper-mold suction casting method at various overheating temperatures.Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and uniaxial compression experiments were employed to detect the glass forming ability(GFA) and mechanical properties of the samples,respectively.Furthermore,the relationships between microstructures,GFA and mechanical properties of the BMGs were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Results show that a very small amount of crystals are embedded in the amorphous matrix for all the samples.GFA of the samples gradually increases with increasing the overheating temperature.Besides,grain sizes become smaller;crystallized volume fractions of samples decrease;strength and plasticity of the samples increase and reach to the optimal values when the samples are suction cast at 6 kW of power.But mechanical properties of the samples decline sharply when further increasing the overheating temperature.
