摘要
近几年来,我国高等教育已经取得了重大发展,普通高校发展的速度和规模异常迅速。在如今高校转型的时代背景下,地方本科院校的生存和发展正面临着前所未有的挑战。地方本科院校要在日益激烈的高等教育市场竞争中站住脚跟,最重要的是要发掘自己的育人特色,搭建符合自己学科特点的特色育人体系。该文以怀化学院物信系为例,分析了其工科专业的办学特点及特色文化的内涵,提出了符合专业发展方向的特色文化的建设内容和实施措施。
