摘要
在教育游戏设计过程中,吸引学习者持续参与游戏,是目前教育游戏不如商业游戏更加吸引学习者的主要原因,也是教育游戏设计面临的难题之一。弄清游戏活动中游戏者的动机因素,则是设计教育游戏首先要面临的问题。在深入剖析了多元动机框架理论内涵的前提下,对教育游戏设计时如何驱动学习动机的策略与方法进行深度地思考与探讨,结合设计案例,探讨如何将驱动学习者动机策略融合到游戏的结构之中,以期达到提高教育游戏的可玩性及教育性相统一之目的。同时也对多元动机框架理论与目前被广泛关注的网络课程、翻转课堂、MOOC等教学活动、教学资源,及系统平台设计的指导意义进行了展望,并对多元动机框架理论在指导具体的教育游戏设计中存在的问题也进行了相关的反思。
In the process of educational games design, how to attract learners to continue participating in educational games is one of the problems faced by educational games designers. The main reason is that educational games are less interesting than the commercial games. Understanding the motivation factors of players in games is the most important problem that should be solved by educational games designers. Based on deeply exploring the connotations of framework of multiple motivations, the strategies and methods to drive learning motivation in educational games designing are discussed. With the design case, the study explores how to inte- grate the strategy of learning motivation into the game structure, so as to reach the balance between the entertainment and instruction of educational games. The author also makes a prospect of the significance of multiple motivations framework to online course, flipped classroom, MOOC, instructional resources and system platform design. Finally, the problems when applying multiple motivations framework in the educational game design need further consideration.
