Challenge as a Stimulus for Creation: An Pedagogical Perspective

摘要 教师的教学内容局限于当下学科范式之内,自身研究主要在当下学科范式中进行,要培养出创新的学生需要教师将"挑战"渗透于日常教学之中,时常促使学生在教学和学习过程中有机会到达学科前沿而面对未知世界;或者有机会从现有范式的束缚中跳出来看看,知道自己处于局限之中。六个挑战的教学案例展现出"挑战"作为教学方法的多方面本质,以促进这一方法在教学中的普遍使用。从培养创造性人才出发,"教学"的传统定义中必须增加创造的维度,应当对现有的教学理论、课程理论和学习理论予以完善以展现创新视野下的教与学。 Teachers' teaching content is within the present subject paradigm and his research is also mainly in the current subject paradigm. So if we want to cultivate creative students, teachers need to "challenge" students in daily teaching activity so as to stimulate students to have the opportunity to arrive at the frontier of knowledge to face the unknown problem, or have chance to jump out of the existing paradigm bondage to see and understand that he himself is in the limitation. This paper shows six cases of challenge teaching with in-depth analysis and comparison to reveal multifaceted nature of "challenge" as teaching methods, so as to promote this method widely used in teaching. Starting from the aim of cultivation creativity, this paper enrich the traditional definition of "teaching" and suggest that teaching theory, curriculum theory and learning theory should be enriched to show the new view of teaching and learning under the background of innovation and creation.
