Relationship between STAT3, p-STAT3 and prognosis of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma: a meta-analysis

摘要 目的应用Meta分析的方法,阐明信号传导与转录激活因子3与磷酸化的信号传导与转录激活因子3在非霍奇金淋巴瘤中的表达及其与患者预后的关系。方法计算机检索Pub Med、Cochrane图书馆、Embase、ISI Web of Science、中国知网、万方数据、维普数据库,根据纳入和排除标准进行筛选,确定纳入文献后提取数据,用Stata 12.0进行Meta分析。结果共纳入6篇文献,累计病例855例。随机效应模型合并风险比(Hazard ratio,HR)为1.03(95%CI:0.43~2.44,P=0.954),差异无统计学意义。以生发中心B细胞样(Germinal center B-cell-like,GCB)及非生发中心B细胞样(Non-GCB)亚组进行分析,固定效应模型合并HR值为1.82(95%CI:1.30~2.56,P=0.000),差异有统计学意义。结论 STAT3或p-STAT3的高表达与NHL的预后无明显相关关系,但可能与GCB和non-GCB亚型的不良预后有关。 Objective To quantitatively assess the role of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3) and phospho-STAT3(p-STAT3) expression in non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL) and analyze their correlation with the prognosis of patients with lymphoma. Methods Pub Med, Cochrance Library, Embase, ISI Web of Science,CNKI, Wanfang and VIP databases were searched. Literatures were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and survival data were extracted after the literatures were confirmed. Meta-analysis was conducted using Stata12.0. Results A total of 6 references were included with 855 patients. The combined hazard ratio(HR) was 1.03(95%CI: 0.43~2.44, P=0.954) by random-effect model without statistical significance. Pooled HR of germinal center B-cell-like(GCB) and non-germinal center B-cell-like(non-GCB) subgroups was 1.82(95% CI: 1.30~2.56, P=0.000) by fixed-effect model, showing statistical significance. Conclusion High STAT3 or p-STAT3 expression has no significant correlation with prognosis of NHL, but they may indicate poor prognosis in GCB and non-GCB subgroups.
