The paper analyzes the main issues involved in high embankment foundation treatment, including the determination of the effective reinforcement depth and post- construction settlement, and studies a specific high embankment foundation treatment project using dynamic compaction method combining with design practice,and discusses the advantages and matters need attention using dynamic compaction method in high embankment foundation treatment.
