摘要
校训,是一所大学应有必有的育人之纲,是大学精神的高度凝练。笔者调研数百条大学的校训发现,语句有长有短,立意有宽有窄,内容各有侧重,但都深受中华经典文化的滋养,传承的是中华优秀传统文化的基因。换言之,博大精深的中华传统文化,为大学校训的提出和确立提供了肥沃的土壤,校训所蕴含的教育真谛,皆可从传统文化中寻觅。
The university motto is the guiding principle that a university must have, as well as the highly condensed university spirit. After a survey of hundreds of university mottoes, the writer found that they may be long or short, with wide or narrow conceptions and contents with different focuses, but all of them have been deeply influenced by the Chinese classic culture, and they have inherited the excellent gene of traditional Chinese culture.In other words, the extensive and profound traditional Chinese culture has provided a fertile soil for the formulation and establishment of university mottoes, and the truths of education embodied in university mottoes can all be found in traditional Chinese culture.
