摘要
利用Polyflow软件对非等径料腔内差速螺旋双转子间熔体流动进行数值模拟,比较了同向和异向双转子二维端面的混合行为。结果表明,3∶1差速转子混合指数在介于0.5和1之间的约占88%,拉伸作用强;同向差速的分布混合效果更好;同向双转子料腔内高速分布范围宽,流场内不均匀度大,更加利于流体的相互交换;异向的啮合区压力和剪切速率更大,分散能力更强。
Numerical simulation of melt flow between differential twin screw rotors and unequal barrel holes was carried out using Polyflow software. 88 % of the mixing index for 3 :1 differential rotors was ranged between 0. 5 and 1, indicating a strong extensional flow field. The mixing behaviors of both counter-rotation and co-rotation were equally good. In the co-rotation cavity, the high-speed zone was wider, degree of in-uniformity was higher, viscosity-thinning more obvious, which was favorable for material exchange. In the counter-rotation cavity, pressure and shear rate were larger, which was favorable for establishing higher pressure.
