摘要
汉英或英汉翻译是一个复杂的认知过程。两种语言各自的认知模式不时地制约着译者对源语的理解和对目的语的产出。在翻译转换的过程中,源语和目的语中的各认知模式会发生各种相似或相异的映射关系,如等价映射、配价映射、换价映射以及变价映射等。
Translation of Chinese into English or vice versa is a complex cognitive process. The understanding of source language and the producing of target language are respectively constrained by their own cognitive models. In the process of translation,cognitive models between the two languages may have similar or different mapping relations,such as the maintaining of original mapping relation,the addition of source domain to target domain,the substitution of source domain with target domain or the change of source domain for target domain.
